Situated at the upper reaches of the Lahn, Bad Lassphe is the natural gateway to the Wittgensteiner Foothills. Virtually endless deciduous and coniferous forests and elevations between 330 and 700 metres above sea level invite you to go on extended hikes. The health-promoting highland climate already made the town into a Kneipp spa bath with a good reputation at the beginning of the 20th century. The historical old town is worth seeing, with its timber-framed houses and the church from 11th century.
